Waterjet cutting is a computer controlled cutting process by which very high-pressure water is forced through a Diamond Jewel. The result is a water stream that is moving at 60,000 psi and can cut up to 8" of Stainless Steel. (see picture)

 

A waterjet  is capable of cutting a wide variety of materials such as, aluminum, copper, exotic alloys, stainless steel, steel, titanium, hardened tool steel, composites, ceramics, glass, fiberglass, stone, wood and other material such as rubber.  (Notice dinosaur below)
