PROUDLY SERVING
PARKSTON, SOUTH DAKOTA
AND THE SURROUNDING
AREA SINCE 1994.
Welcome to Parkston Precision Machining!
I welcome you to our Veteran owned, family
operated Waterjet Cutting and Machine shop!
Ever since I was a kid, I have always liked getting
my hands dirty. I was raised on a farm in Colorado
where I worked on farm machinery, cars and whatever I could tear apart. I love engineering new concepts and fabricating new parts and have since an early age. I later enlisted into the Navy for 4 years as a Structural Jet Mechanic. After serving my country, I was employed at Continental Airlines in Denver until they decided to move out of state. There I worked on the plane structures. After their closing, I went on to a Tech School to learn machining and earned my machining certificate.
I wanted to get back to the country and small town living, so my wife and I moved to South Dakota where we had our 4 children.
I worked at Mitchell Manufacturing from 1994-1995 as a CNC Operator. In 1995 I started working for Universal
Packaging (which is now known as Graphic Packaging) in Mitchell. I worked on equipment in the Maintenance department, and later transferred to die sharpening.
In February 2004 I started my own business here in Parkston. I could see the need for a welding and machine shop for the area. Today, we continue to operate as a Veteran owned, family business! We also have one other full time veteran employee. All 4 of our kids (3 sons and 1 daughter) have worked here at Parkston Precision Machining as well.
In 2019 we happily announced that we added a Waterjet Table. To find out more about our waterjet, check out the services tab for more information.
Give us a call or stop by! We love new projects and challenges.
